Dr. Arun Kumar is a well known, experienced spine surgeon practicing at Reva Spine Centre, Visakhapatnam. He has a remarkable 11 years experience, who completed MBBS in Guntur and MS(Orthopaedics) in Nellore from prestigious Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Andhra Pradesh.

After completion of his post graduation, his passion and interest towards spine surgery made him join and complete clinical fellowship in spine surgery (Super Specialisation) at various well recognised centres across India.

· AOSpine Asia Pacific Fellowship – Bombay Hospital and Research Centre, Mumbai

· Indian Orthopaedic Association Fellowship in Adult Spinal Deformity – Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore

· SSAP Clinical Fellowship in Spine Surgery – MSC, Guntur

During the period of fellowship, his research projects has won many accolades and awards in the international circuit. Most prestigious one among them is AOSpine International Discovery and Innovation Award received in 2019 at Toronto, Canada. Dr. Arun Kumar is the first and only spine surgeon from India to receive this award.

After completion of his clinical training in spine surgery in India, he was awarded SICOT Fellowship in Paediatric Spinal Deformity at the Department of Scoliosis, Texas Children’s Hospital, Houston, USA which is the biggest paediatric deformity (Scoliosis and Kyphosis) centre around the world. He was also awarded with Indo-American Spine Alliance Fellowship in Endoscopic Spine Surgery & Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery at University Hospitals, Cleveland, USA.
